Numbers should give you a question
Analytics are useful when they help an owner decide what to look at next. A wall of figures is not visibility; it is another task.
The useful shape is simple: what sold, when demand moved, what is still active, and where the room needed attention.
Look for patterns, not verdicts
A slow Tuesday is not automatically a bad menu. A popular item is not automatically a good business decision. The value is in seeing patterns across service and asking the team what the numbers cannot tell you.
Good analytics leave room for judgement.
Close the loop
The best operating rhythm is observation, conversation, small change. Review the service, make one or two deliberate adjustments and watch what happens next. Technology should make that loop lighter.
